Does the house allow parties or events?

The house sleeps a maximum of 6 people including children. We don’t allow parties or large gatherings at the house.

Is the house suitable for children?

The house is well set up for the enjoyment of families however it’s worth noting that there is no fence between the house and the lake. Children who cannot swim require constant monitoring if they are outside the house.

Can we just rent one room?

If it’s not peak season and you’d like to rent one room Monday to Thursday it may be possible to rent the house at a reduced rate for a maximum of 2 people. Please feel free to contact us with this request.

How many people can sleep in a room?

Each room sleeps 2 people either in a King bed or 2 extra long singles. The Milton room and the Mollymook room can also accommodate a portacot.

Can we have twin beds?

Yes, absolutely! If you have any special requests regarding bedding arrangements please let us know and we can help you out.

Is there parking?

Yes, there’s adequate undercover parking for 2 cars in the carport. The property can also accommodate a boat or jet-ski trailer. There’s also plenty of street parking.

What amenities are provided at the house?

There’s a hairdryer in each bedroom. Each guest is provided with a bath towel and bath mats. Washing powder and cleaning supplies are available should you need them.

What is provided in the kitchen?

The kitchen is well set up with everything you’ll need should you wish to cook up some delicious meals - 5 burner gas cooktop, microwave, electric/gas oven, dishwasher, fridge etc. The kitchen is well stocked with all the basics: extra virgin olive oil, salt, pepper, vinegar and a wide variety of spices. Food wrap, baking paper and foil is also provided.

Are pets allowed?

We’re huge pet lovers but unfortunately the house is not set up for pets. There’s no fencing to keep your pets safe and there’s many kangaroo’s for dogs to chase. We also like to keep our property allergen free for our guests. There is however plenty of wildlife you keep you entertained!

Can we bring extra people and let them camp outside or stay in a motorhome outside?

No, we have a strict 6 person rule at the house.

Where is the best place to do some grocery shopping?

There’s a corner store and liquor shop a few doors up from the Lakehouse. The IGA in Milton is only a 10 minute drive. It’s very well stocked and has everything you could possibly need.

Where can I launch my boat or jet ski?

There’s boatramps nearby in Aney Street (small boats) & Lake Conjola Entrance Road. There’s a small beach with mooring posts right outside the house.

Can we moor our boat or jet ski in the lake in front of the house?

Do we need to bring beach towels?

Yes, we supply bath towels but encourage you to bring your own beach towels.

Can we walk to the beach?
Expand Section

Conjola Entrance is approximately 20mins on foot and only 5 mins in the car. Drive or walk through the Holiday Haven Caravan Park.

Is there a beach suitable for small children?
Expand Section

We recommend Lake Conjola Entrance, where the sea meets the lake has some lovely sheltered swimming spots.

Is there a cafe we can walk to?

Tilly & Mo cafe is only a 10 minute walk where you can grab a great coffee or some brekky or lunch. The Lake Conjola Bowling club is only a 5 minute walk where you can book a table for dinner at the Entrance Brasserie.

Do you arrange transport for your guests?

We can certainly provide you with the contacts who can transport you to the local wineries & restaurants.

Is the lake always open to the ocean?

Lake Conjola is classed as an ICOLL - ‘intermittently closed and open lake or lagoon’. It is constantly changing due to weather conditions. When the entrance is open the lake is tidal and allows water craft access to the ocean. When the lake is closed the water can change colour but it is still safe to swim and enjoy other water activities. The Council monitors the water quality on a weekly basis when the lake is closed.

Can we hire boats and canoes nearby?

The Lake Conjola post office store in Carroll Avenue has boat hire and canoe hire etc. They also do a mean fish and chips!

Where can we buy bait and fishing tackle?

The corner store and the post office store have a great range of bait and fishing gear. You can also grab a fishing licence there too!

Are there any farmers markets nearby?

The Milton Produce Market is on every Saturday 08:30 - 11:30 at the Milton Showground. Cupitt’s Growers Market is held on the last Saturday of the month 10am - 12pm at Cupitt’s Ulladulla. Check out our 'Things to Do' page for more suggestions!

Do you provide any water craft?

Yes we do! We provide 2 stand up paddle boards for guest use.
